I had that exact bike! 1979 candy blue team, but with nickel fork and one piece crank. I wish I still had that bike!

Great work I grew-up in the 60s and our bikes were as important to us back then as cell phones are today with kids but better. We all enjoyed riding them and I was the guy all the kids would bring thier bikes too when they broke. I was the king of flat tire and chain repairs and I would put a bike together from old parts and paint them. Then in high school it was vw's back then you could buy used vw's for $50.00..

All the Team Mongoose bikes I saw came with Ultra Dyno cranks.

early ones indeed came with dynos. I think it also depended what country you were in too.
