I put over 4K miles on a new one back in the day. Great sled for the time and technology of the time.

Yes indeed! These sleds were ahead of their time. My Dad’s cousins rode those sleds back in the day too.

That’s a clean old liquifire. I’d love to find one of these.

nice old sled john deere version of the kawaski 440 invader
@CanfieldFamilyFarm7 ай бұрын
Yep! Although I personally think the Liquifire looks better than the invader.
@IowaBudgetRCBashers7 ай бұрын
Nope, Deere made their own sleds in horicon. The only thing it has in common with the invader is the 440 kawi motor.. and the 295 in the 300 is a kiortz engine

Should get that Oiler Working, it puts Oil Directly on the Crankshaft Bearings, pretty easy to work on, might just need cleaning out and New Lines.

After running it some more I’m pretty sure the oiler does work. And also cause the guy who we bought it from said to start out by running premixed oil and gas.

@@CanfieldFamilyFarm Might wanna Pull the Carbs and Visably check that there's oil coming out on both sides, the orifices are so small they clog pretty easy, easiest if you pull the spark plugs out and spin it over with the recoil or with a drill on the clutch.

The 300 is a 295s motor. You should search for the twin pipes and twin carbs. It’ll make that 300 as fast as tge 440 liquifire
