Sorry for the late response guys, haven't been watching the comments section. David- No I didn't have to chop the frame. But the fiberglass seats require a custom mounting solution in order to work. Seems like every make and model (and year) requires some custom made bracket. Monte- Those are the original forks! I hit 'em with 400 grit wet dry sand paper and then took then to my buffer with black, brown & white buffing compound, they just look new. Internally, they have new fork seals and fluid (springs were good) . I added the shock boots just for the vintage look. Yes, both wheels were powder coated black. The cases were original as well. Advise: If you are going to buff old cases, I suggest you start with warm water, add a ample supply of Dawn liquid ( so its a little slimmy) start with 400 grit wet/dry paper then 600, then 800, 1000. finally take them to the buffing wheel. periodically when I'm working the cases I spray brake cleaner to remove the excess gunk. (make sure its non chlorinated type and spray it in a very well ventilated area). Kerwbstop: That tank is called a Manx style. I'm a dealer for Legendary seats and tanks. I have an extra seat and a similar tank in stock if your interested. It depends on the model and year of your project. Thanks for comments/questions and for watching! Dave
