Thanks! I am a long time vintage graded football collector. I just started making content in November. I think that is my favorite Payton card. I like 79 and 81 too. Those were the first years I really got into football cards so there are added memories there.

Thanks for watching. Griese had some similarities to Troy Aikman. Their talent is greater than the numbers they put it up. They were team players that placed winning ahead of putting up big numbers. Both of them played in great offenses that featured the run, but they could win games with their arm when needed. I have a lot of respect for Griese.

As always a great video ! Even if those 1980 Topps havn't get the NFL licence, i like a lot this set. Even if Ken Stabbler did the biggest part of his career with the Raiders, i love this card with the Oilers uniform. Thanks for sharing thoses pretty sweet cards and the sports informations !

Thanks Fabien. The Oilers had high hopes when they traded Pastorini for Stabler. They thought he would take them to the Super Bowl. It started out good, but never happened. I am a fan of this set too as it was the first year that I ripped a lot packs. I collected in 1979, but really got into it in 1980.

Oh my gosh Terry! I’m going to watch this tomorrow but started because I saw the 1980 Topps football cards. They were the first packs I opened hence the Tony Hill pic.

The. Cowboys are my favorite team and I remember opening a lot of 1980 Topps. The first packs I opened were 1979, but the one I really enjoyed the most were 1981. I opened so many packs that year. Good times. I appreciate the comment and hope you enjoy the video.

Stabler was on the wrong team? nice Griese, Stabler , Ham, Whtie, Lofton, Newsome, Payton, Otis Anderson, Mean Joe Green , Bradshaw, Simms, Lambert Dorsett , Riggins, Harris, Largent, Csonka, Fouts, I think you picked a very good card as your favorite the Payton i'm giving you a 10? my favorites would be the Payton and the Steeler cards. although this is a nice set I like your 1976 better? being I like everything better in the 70's than the 80's I like the movies better , tv shows Music I like the 80's better but as far as baseball cards go I like the 70's better So I guess it comes as no surprise, I like this set there just a few cards that are ok where as 1976 that's a perfect set. this 80 set has awesome cards but theres a few that don't grab me.

I agree that the 70s football sets are better,. The 1980 Topps is probably one of my least favorite sets of the. 80s for player selection and overall design, but I like it for for nostalgic reasons since it is one is the early sets that I collected. Stabler on the Oilers is odd.

I think by a little bit the 1980 Baseball is a little bit more exciting than the Football set i'm taking Henderson over Simms.
