1980 Toyota Hilux Custom Alloy Flatbed / Flat deck Build 2021

Exciting News! 🚗✨ The custom alloy flat deck/flat bed for the 1980's Toyota Hilux Pickup is officially complete! I've meticulously TIG-welded all the beams and seamlessly fitted marine ply onto the tray, achieving the perfect blend of durability and aesthetics.
But that's not all. Picture this: a future C-Notched 1981 Hilux, powered by a Hybrid 20R/22R engine, boasting Formula 1/cantilever style suspension, and QA1 coil-over shocks all around. Stay tuned for the suspenseful suspension saga as I plan to convert it to S13 Silvia suspension, complete with an IRS diff. The grand vision? A minitruck with a strong time attack theme and a penchant for drifting adventures.

Thanks for the kind words 😊, I was looking at my analytics and didn’t think the videos were very good. In fact I was contemplating just deleting my channel altogether last night. The answer to your question is yes it is pretty low to the ground and sometimes knicks the hump of speed bumps when I go over them but I’m not really concerned. I will be making some shotgun tips that exit at the rear soon because currently it’s a bit loud.

@@AdamNZ In my opinion your videos are fine -- sharp, clear, instructive, down to earth ... its just that like in my area of expertise (music) there are thousands of others who are doing the same sorts of things as you. As long as you are posting original content (and by definition you are) I would not get too concerned about metrics. The most important dimension of this KZbin activity is whether or not you enjoy it.

Out of curiosity what are the dimensions of the flatbed itself?

@@hieloso1 That would be ok to do? As long as you got the right tools you could make it a few ways. Even with basic tools its still achievable.
