As soon as I saw 'Man Utd v Arsenal 1981-82' I thought: George Wood. I haven't seen this since it was first transmitted on Saturday night MOTD. Wood was interviewed after the game - unsurprisingly, given the saves he made. After watching this I switched-over to OTT with Alexei Sayle on ITV !

This match came a couple of days after Bob Paisley had labelled Arsenal boring. He wasn't wrong.

He said that another time and he was made to eat his words because Arsenal killed his team. Paisley was a bit of a bore himself.

I travelled up for this game. When I see these games from the eighties it reminds me of why I used to go to football. Now it's about £25 to get in to watch these prima donnas falling over very 5 seconds and arguing with the officials every time they don't get the decision. Oh for a time machine!!!!!!!
