My mom's house has 2 of these. I can count on 1 hand how many times they both clogged in my 18 years of living there. They were great performers. 90% of the house in the subdivision had this exact same model as the houses were all built within the same 2 years, and these were builder grade toilets for that time era. Also, ironically, my very first apartment in college had one as well.

The builder grade toilets back in those days were great. You had American Standard Plebes, Crane Radcliffes, Kohler Wellworths, Kilgore Apex and Alphas, Mansfield Imperials, Briggs Conservers, etc.

@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations they don't make quality builder grade toilets anymore, sadly. They're far and few in between. The stamp in the tanks said 1971 if I remember correctly.

What an ABSOLUTELY EPIC toilet! I'm glad you grabbed this beauty off the side of the road before the garbage men could. This toilet shall not be killed in the landfill.

Same, it didn't deserve to be thrown away.

Nice toilet - shame that it is kinda water starved as it has a 3.5 Gal tank on a 5 Gal bowl!
