As a 42-year-old survivor with all original components, this example is in nice condition for a rider. This 1981 Honda CT70 Trail is a rare example because only one other 1981 model has sold at auction in the last four years. Finished in Tahitian Red with power delivered to whatever surface you’re playing on by an air-cooled, OHC 72cc engine with a 3-speed transmission and automatic clutch.
Standard equipment includes a 78.1 cc/ 4.4 cu in., with a bore x stroke of 47 x 44.1 mm. Fuel capacity is 2.5 liters (0.66043 gallons). The bike weighs 152.12 lb. dry and 165.35 lb. with a full tank. It measures 59.45 in long, 37.8 in tall, and 22.44 in wide. The folding handlebars help stow the bike in tight spots, while the 29.3-inch seat height accommodates teens and adults. Front and rear tires are 4.00 x 10 on solid rims. The 1981 model features telescopic front forks and coil-over shocks in the rear. The headlight, taillight, turn signals, horn, and license plates make this a street-legal ride that is also a kick to ride on trails.
The seller states that the bike features new tires and tubes, fork seals, brake cable, chain, and a new carb and battery. Everything works and is ready to ride.
This CT70 is offered with a reserve in Placentia, California, licensed for the street with current registration and a clean title in the seller's name.

Wow! Nice, I'm 58 and had a CT70 when I was 12. Like kids do, I beat the heck out of that thing! I got all 3 of my friends including me on it at the same time and that little machine pulled us around. Mine had handle bars that you could collapse and chrome on fenders and lights. I took a girlfriend for a ride on the back and her scarf got tangled up in my rear sprocket! Too funny.
