Mom, Dad, Aunt Marie and Uncle larry Head to Vegas part 1. Look out bufffet tables, watch out slots, run and hide has-been lounge acts, the posse from Philly is coming to the strip.

Just scrolling through some old Vegas videos and came across yours. Nice video. Thanks for posting. Nice to see a little bit of old Vegas back then. You can see part of the Formula 1 racetrack back then next to Caesars that they only used for two seasons, 1981 and 82.

This is the way I would of liked Las Vegas to stay, maybe a little larger. Today it's WAY too big. I remember the 1 dollar breakfast buffet, the 2 dollar lunch, the 4 dollar dinner. 1 pound hotdogs at Slots Of Fun for 99 cents and you can add all the toppings you want, BIG shrimp cocktails for 99 Cents down town. Free bottles of beer for playing the nickel poker games. Keno parlors where the numbers were not computer generated, the numbers were on pingpong balls pulled by a real person. I can go on and on and on. Vegas is not the same anymore. And I truly mean it. In my opinion it has gotten worse.
