Hello, I have a 1980 yz250 that does run decently but it needs a good bit of maintenance and a proper rebuild. I would love to see more content regarding this bike when you have time!

That air intake boot is made outta unobtainium. Hope you kept it. I'm gonna use a large piece of stink tube and slide it inside. Put the heat to it and then trim off the extra. Hope it works.

Sometimes on engines this old the crank seals are deteriorated causing an air leak. Good idea to change them.

Hey Johnny...I have the same YZ250F as you rebuilt back in 2010. I actually used your videos to rebuild mine after the crank bearing seized. Thanks a million!! My bike also has the exact same graphics as yours. Any idea where to source them, I'd like to replace mine for same, especially my tank graphics which have yellowed badly. Thanks!!
