This is the best video I have watched as far as showing the Delorean's interior and useful features.. Most other's are related to bashing the design of the engine and how to mod it. John Delorean did not get to build the car the way he wanted. Renault found John; not the other way around. They were just the only ones around that could give him his supply chain in a hurry. Had the Economy not tanked I think later Deloreans would have seen big Engine and drivetrain Changes. John had a vision for his car the he never got to realize. As far as Usefulness; Renault did a good enough job in as little time as they were given. With more "R&D" , Time, and better World Economy. These Cars would have been sold faster than they could be made. I wold love to have one. Thanks for making this Video.

+Ramblin_DMC I'd replace it with a chime from an oldsmobile. lol.

+Josh Carpenter I'm planning on replacing it with something else. I've seen DeLoreans that had a Cadillac one. sounded nice

in what years was the chime made? I have a 2000 Focus (ZTS) and it has an annoying as hell chime.
@Ramblin_DMC9 жыл бұрын
I really have no idea what other car manufacturers used that chime. All the DeLoreans have it though 1981-1983.

Because this car was a dud, not a big seller or following until the movie came out, and by then it was long gone.

If I had the money I would buy one. They're not the greatest cars but it is certainly iconic and has such a cool vibe to it that seems to be a snapshot of those times in the 80's.
