did you ever record the installation of the starter clutch with the engine in the bike.....Great tutorial series BTW

if you don't have a impact driver or $$ or can't get it off with that tool, then use a surplus steel clutch plate.....drill some holes in it, get some bolts so you can space it into place in the clutch basket. attach the bolts to a long steel bar that will rest on your foot rest or ground. Then you can use your breaker bar and remove the big bolt. There is a video showing it here on youtube. Or buy the grabbit tool (motion pro.) or put a penny or rag between the gear inside to lock it.(per Clymer book.)

There is someone selling better springs (the weakest part/often break) for the starter clutch. They are 9 dollars for 3 springs. The same springs are used in about 100 different motorcycles. They are on Ebay.

Did you fix yours after? I did mine but have had to take it back out again as just the rebuild kit didn't work. Possible that the gear/roller that the clutch grips is worn so going to look at a s/h one I have here to see if it's less worn.
