Finally got back to Park Run (5K) yesterday after one year not running. A good way off my PB but watching The Great North now I'm inspired to build up to another half marathon,its only four and a bit park runs!

Its 42 years ago today since Adrian and I ran The London Marathon. Congratulations to everyone who ran today. I will be back one day, you can bank on it (when I get my knee sorted out and my diabetes under control!)

I will have to send another on my next trip (perhaps when I run the marathon again). I have just spent a month 'rebuilding 'the caravan!

Happy St George"s and Shakespeare Day! Hope you enjoyed today's London Marathon. I'm out for a run now but here we were 39 years ago running the second London Marathon in 1982! Take a look and enjoy the nostalgia!

I finished 1108th in 4 hours 8 minutes. Adrian finished about 20 mins earlier. The fist time he ever beet me!

I ran through The Isle of Dogs (it was just a few pubs ,no sky scrapers then) and heard everyone cheering, I thought for me but there was this block in a gold lame track suit just to my right!

I ran next to him through the Isle of Dogs and thought the cheers were for me!
