To think that was cutting edge video game technology. If you just popped a kid from the 80s in front of a video game, now, their brain would probably just overload. That *TURBO* ad might just be the goofiest fragrance ad I've ever seen. 7:56 Okay, that ad took a creepy ass turn *real* quick. If that had been airing when I was five, I'm *positive* it would've scared the crap out of me.

That Paco Rabanne commercial was pretty scandalous at the time. I remember one of the morning news shows doing a segment on it. For anyone wondering what was so controversial, it's because based on the dialogue, the man and the woman couldn't possibly be married, and here they just slept together.

I have a buried memory, very faint, of a commerical from this time period (like 80, 81). I want to say it was for either oven cleaner or maybe aluminum foil. Theres a straight shot of a closed oven, maybe two side by side, and theres a timelapse to show that somethings working. I remember a very distinct synth like song or sound.. its very blurry on the fringes of my memory but I know it's real..
