1982 Toyota Pickup Restoration ( Bodywork/Paint Job)

In this video we will undertake multiple rust spots and repairs for this classic pickup truck. As well as a full tutorial on how to disassemble the both doors for repairs and a complete paint job. We also made strips to fit the original stickers that the car came with.
Thanks to my Dad for helping with the whole project and taking his time to teach me useful skills in body work and prep.

I got a 86’ no solid front shaft but strong 4x4 transfer case, 5sp Manuel Tranny. Good project truck. Bed on but about rusted. Was running when I parked it. Needs an aftermarket carb. 22re carb. Reg cab & pretty much original. Had a brush guard & headache rack made for her & mounted. $500 come & pick up in Texas, S. of Houston. Clear Blue Texas Title. I just used it as a run around town & ranch truck.

Did you try driving it in the river? The hilux are water sealed, in south A is famous seen a few clip of them driving in the deep river, one show water filled in the engine bay and cab and carring about 7 people behind. we are currently working on restoring a 75 jeep Cherokee at this moment, my plan now is to create a separate car restoration KZbin channel of classic cars with my dad stay tuned in the following months as I prepare with new video equipment to start this new project !

At 10:02 how were you able to tape the stripes with such accuracy? I’m looking to do the same to my truck, because the original decals are falling off, and finding replacement ones is proving to be very difficult.
