I like how the red cars from Rally-X appear as items. Also, its smoke screen sound effect is very similar to the Paczilla sound effect from Super Pac-Man. I also love the Item Wearing Off sound effect as well.

unlike most other pac-man games, this title didn't release in the US at the time, although such a release almost happenned. following the premier of the pac-man cartoon series, Namco commissioned a sprite swap that would replace pal/miru with pac-man's dog. that version ended up being canceled when namco terminated their partnership with midway over unlicenced use of the character, but not before Pac-land, also based on the cartoon, was released here.
