I remember seeing Cam Fella at Mohawk ...I have a tail hair that was stuck in his stall gate...it is precious to me ! What a great horse he was!

Cam Fella in a class by himself, but so many great races from My Bill. Freehold among the best tracks to experience racing. Thanks for this one!

Thanks for posting..Cant remember if I was at Freehold that day, but boy, Cam Fella did not like to lose, and actually a great drive by Crowe.

In January, 1982, I had just started at a new prep school that let me sleep late so I could go to the harness tracks anytime. Went to Yonkers a lot and saw the Hopeful, where Kash Course was winning at 1-20 until he ran into Cam Fella, who was 1-20 against him. In the summer, my friend Scott then says don't bother going to the Cane Pace because Merger at 1-2 is a lock, so I don't. Next morning I pick up the paper to learn that Cam Fella had paid $14.60 and $8.60 and was quite peeved.

Cant understand why John Bothe is not behind a mike SOMEWHERE..we need more like him, rather than the monotones at some tracks...Good to see Robin Burns getting back upstairs...

Louie stephens Yes, i agree, but if we could get the JB even at 75%, it would be better than half of the callers now...

I believe JB had a gambling problem and it was tough for him to call the races without getting the juices flowing.

He complained that he is a compulsive gambler. They wanted him to do handicapping and he was afraid he wot relapse.
