1983 Honda Nighthawk 650 full custom hardtail chopper bobber

The sound quality is horrible because this was filmed with a phone. I must have bumped the kill switch on the way to the starter button because the first attempt did nothing haha then I noticed the kill switch and it fired right up like usual. I started it with full choke, then when I got on I moved it to half choke, then I turned the choke off after I put it in gear.

Hey Dave, What kind of rear fender you have on your 650?

I used 1 inch pipe, but a smaller pipe would have been better because of the smaller space where the right shock mounts into the swingarm. So, measure the width between those mounting tabs and use that size pipe. Also, make sure to use thick walled pipe..

What jet kit did you use with those pods?

I didn't re-jet. I used black electrical tape to cover ⅓ of the pod openings to restrict airflow. The result was a "retarded" engine sound which was awesome paired with the open pipes.

It's an aftermarket sportster tank. I don't remember the years it's for. what matters is the length and the tunnel width and the mount type.

The fender was an old crappy Harley fender that I restored but, yeah the rest is ebay and a lot of labor :P
