We played that club a lot when i was in the nearby high school (Dr. Knox Secondary) and I was a caddy there in the Ogopogo Open golf tournament one year. In winter we would toboggan down the slope (seen at 1:10 in the timer slider) and see how far we could get our toboggans to slide across the frozen pond. We also played hockey on that pond... I recall being out there early after school to shovel off the snow and scrape it for the game to begin...

I grew up in the Arrow Lake area. That school bus on the ferry was the Nakusp High School bus that ran from Edgewood to Nakusp and was on the return trip at the end of the day. I had a class mate that would get picked up a little after 6 am and this bus would pick up all the kids that were in grade 8-12 and would get to Nakusp shortly before 9 I think. They later added another bus to pick up students that would start in Burton and pick up everyone else to Nakusp.
