If the brake oil is reduced, the manual brake light will turn on

The break lights thing is usually on if you have low level of the breaking oil, probably you need to check that, it happens with me in my fj40

Here no ABS No traction control no airbags who cares , as an old owner of fj40 the best part of it when you just chose the hardest trail you see then clime it like nothing, just switch to 4 low, then let the 2F engine do what it do best.

Still drive a FJ60, But did own a 74 Cj5 with a monster 304 AMC engine. Back in the day, they were equaly capable and reliable. Not like the new Jeeps. If I have to get rid of the FJ60 will get a FJ80/100

In Brazil we call it "bandeirante", you can still easily see them around... not as a collector's relic, but as a work vehicle, it's indestructible, just change the Oil and this thing lasts forever
