1983 Oldsmobile 98 Oil Change

Very good video. I searched the video in order to locate the oil filter on my identical '83 98 (original sticker: $19,000 in 1983 money.) From just squeezing underneath, I couldn't find the filter, but it's pretty obvious here. I know I'm weird, but there's something about the feel of hot motor oil on my hands ;)

I have been following you for years, because I have owned my 1983 Oldsmobile 98 Regency Brougham since 2007. And I am sad to report that I am finally having to junk her. 38 year of her sitting in the rain, one wreck, being cosmetically rebuilt, and having the trans being stuck in drive. Well now she wont start and its finally time to put her to rest

Where did you find the logos for your tail lights?

One is original from the car. I lost one and the other was falling off. I was able to source a nicer condition tail light for one side with logo and reattached the other side. It’s a game of searching ebay and getting lucky. Basically impossible to find them and if you do they are almost always faded out.

It's not difficult, just have to shift it around the brake lines. Just did it on my 81 Olds 98
