1983 Vespa PX125E first start after total restoration.

The first start is always exciting, I have the last 6 months been working with this restoration of the whole bike, the engine is totally overhauled, a new crankshaft, new cylinder kit with a volume of 177cc, new bearings, and clutch discs.
The Sassi needed a lot of work due to rust, a lot of welding, and some new parts ware feated, after that, new paint was applied with a clear coat.
The color code comes from the Audi A6 r6s.

Γειά σου Νίκο, μόλις τώρα είδα το βίντεο με τη PX125. Εξαιρετική δουλειά, πανέμορφη vespa. Ο ήχος με τη POLINI απόλαυση. Από τη πινακίδα κατάλαβα ότι είσαι Σουηδία. Μπράβο για την ελληνική σημαία στο γκαράζ. Αναπαλαιώνω τη vespa του συγχωρεμένου πατέρα μου, μια P200E του 1981 και θέλω να συνδυάσω το πράσινο original χρώμα με γκρι λάστιχα καπό, ντουλαπιού, χερούλια κλπ. Αν θέλεις μπορείς να πεις από που τα πήρες; Βρίσκω κάποια από Ιταλία. Ευχαριστώ και να προσέχεις τη βεσπάρα σου! Μιχάλης

Lovely resto Nikos. Currently restoring my 2002 PX125 E, it had a very hard life but I'm slowly getting it back. MAy I ask what exhaust you have there, I really like the sound and my engine spec will be roughly the same as yours. Many thanks in advance :)

Hello Chris! Thanks for tour kind comment, the exhaust is a polini one, I love the sound of it too, I also installed a 177cc cylinder kit on mine but not a performance one. Better than the original 125cc anyway…
