WOW! What a game! What a game! What a game! I was only 19 years old back then, watching this game brought back a lot of memories! I didn't get to see the game, but I did get to tailgate in the Coliseum parking lot that day, caught the highlights on the news that night in LA...

Great game. I never saw it before, and didn't know the outcome until the end. Fun to watch! Thanks for sharing.

Both these teams were loaded with outstanding players, particularly the Raiders D. Most of Denver s team was ppart ot the Super Bowl runs they had early in Elway s career

These were the days when everyone knew that the Raiders would always find a way to win. The Raiders knew it, the Broncos knew it, the fans knew it, and the broadcasters knew it

The Redskins knew it also in SB XVIII.

Elway carried on like his late TD won the game, the definition of premature jocularity but he was a rookie who obviously was oblivious to Raider comebacks and Donkey futility!

I wonder why this was Don Criqui (instead of Dick Enberg) teaming with Merlin Olsen. Criqui was a favorite announcer of mine. But Enberg was obviously the NBC #1 at the time.

Dick Enberg Probably Had The Week Off For A Vacation! ( This Was About 2 1 / 2 Months Into The Regular NFL Football Season. 🏟️🏈) Also Dick Enberg Probably Called A Few Preseason Games In August 1983!🏟️🏈😎🤓😁🙂☺️ I Am Posting 📬 This At 5:42 p.m. , Tuesday Afternoon 🌁🛤️🛣️🏙️ , May 21 , 2024.

I am the ghost of the Raiders future. Enjoy the 1983 season. Cherish each play of every game while you can. From 2003 thru 2023, the Raiders go 20 seasons without a postseason win. Even worse, they only make the playoffs twice. You have been warned. 👻💀
