I owned a 1983 GM van, and I gave it away around 2003. I got it with about 90,000 miles on it in 1992. When I gave it away it had close to 300k miles. NOT ONCE did it leave me at the side of the road. Not once was the engine ever opened up. Rebuilt the transmission after towing a trailer without taking it out of O/D. It's ONLY problem was rust. Many trips down south and many great memories.

Ive got a 95 GMC, I too bought it with 95,000 miles and its got 250,000 now! Still going strong and it also has NEVER left me stranded!Runs good and shifts smoothly. Ive been thru 2 fuel pumps and 2 radiators... one of the radiators was installed incorrectly or it was a bad part cuz got a new one and within 6 months it was leaking. I actually just spent over 2 g's on it getting new tires, with an alignment (and of course I needed parts) then the muffler rusted off and was sliding down the highway so new muffler too. Its been sitting because the brake booster went out and I just got it out of the shop. First thing I did was a road trip to colorado! Horrible gas milage but been one of the most reliable vehicles Ive ever owned! Love Driving it

My parents had one almost identical. I remember we were going up Pacific coast highway headed to Oregon and I EMPTIED my Bowels in the little toilet . I'll never forget that look of Anger and Disgust from my Dad through the rear view mirror and my mom yelling at me because we weren't suppose to use it. ( They wanted us using road side restroom or restaurant rest rooms. OH MY PARENTS WERE PISSED AS I WAS BACK THERE GIGGLING MY ASS OFF!! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Thanks for the memory ...

I like the little finger pointer. That little thing was excellent, almost like watching the 5 o clock meteorologist lady with her fancy hand movements telling me about a high pressure front moving in from the east, and a low pressure moving in from the south, which is going to create some rain and high winds to the north east. Good weather forecast, excellent van 🚐 💪

Yep. $25,000...only a fool would pay anything near that. Before the Covid smackdown you'd be lucky to get 6-7 grand for this thing. It's nearly 40 years old and almost certainly the drive chain and chassis is all original. Has it had a recent tune up? All fluids changed? Oil leaks? Do all the appliances work? They're hoping some sucker falls in love and buys it sight unseen. If all of these things were good to go, it should have been demonstrated in the video.

Let's hope those two brother's do not do the ceiling in their new Pleasureway the same decor they did on this van!! OMG Camo all over the ceiling!! Two things that would turn me off a potential unit back when I bought and sold was cabinets painted white and removed built in furniture such as when people would remove the built in dinette and put a cheap Big Lot's Big Man recliner in it's place and an Ikea futon in place of the factory matching Flexsteel sofa! Money does not buy style or taste! I'm sure some hunter, with no wife to stop him, will love this camo decor and snatch it up before the first 150 views!!! If you have any plans on taking this on a trip you need to replace the timing chain with a Cloyes "double roller" the factory chain has nylon gears, and it will strip...might as well advance it 4-6 degrees while you're at it gives this low compression turd some bottom end grunt...
