The Defender was launched in 1990 so there's no such thing as a 1984 Defender 130. This could technically be a 1984 Land Rover 127 but there's almost nothing left of it. Literally everything has been swapped out for 3rd party stuff. I'm having a hard time spotting a single original part. I don't even think the body is original. I doubt the chasis is. Some things might be real LR parts from late Defender like the body, door handles and dashboard, but I doubt it. Not really a Land Rover but probably much better than a real Land Rover. I own a Defender and this looks very well thought out and it's very tastefully done.

Very nice, but it’s not a Defender or a 130 for that matter.🤷♂️

How come? I have the same 2003 model 130 and you think I'm also wrong.

Its a Defender 130 from the time when they were built for real men and real work, not the current soccer mum era.

@@danielyilak5982 because it’s from 1984, it would have been sold as a Land Rover 127. The Defender name was introduced around 1990/1991 and it was also around then that the 127 was renamed the 130.
