1984 FJ60 de-Smog #2 Eat Shit video Buyer beware!!!

This video I will go into detail about the supplier “JT Outfitter” selling a performance package on ebay.
1st. I involved JTO from the start. When trying to discuss with the guy about what I was dealing with he was no helped. I caught him in multiple lies. He wants to try and blame be because the header sucked and didn’t fit. Expected me to beat the hell out of it to make it fit. That would not solve the larger problem.
2nd. After making video to show him there was NO resolution. The header still sits in my garage.
3rd - Here’s the strike out!!… I talked to the owner of Tri-Mil directly and sent him all of the videos as well. I asked him if I got a bad one. He as well did not help the situation. If you consider 1/16” contact points to be a good way to hold on a header. Then your F’n crazy. you think an off road rig that “May” go off the road to play around is going to hold up. Get real. K
4th. Pretty sad how these shits decided to take advantage of a Covid situation to sit on their asses. Not do a thing. I didn’t want anything. Just to make my FJ60 run good and not have any problems.
Finally.. As of today, going back with the MFG exhaust manifold the rig runs perfect. I took out the flapper to have straight exhaust w/out any obstruction. The 38MM carb works perfect. Give me plenty of power to turn 33” tires. Runs 70 w/out a problem.
I will admit the only thing I used from the package is the distributor, plugs & wires.

Joe, thanks for your videos. I too had a JT Outfitters header. Leaked horribly at the block, and at the welds. Shit product. I am sorting out our ‘85, and want to clean up the unnecessary vacuum lines as well.

That sucks that the after market header didn't work. What do you mean " ran this vacuum to the EGR" at 8:05? It looks like the EGR system has been completely removed? It almost looks like you are pointing at the PCV. Do you mean the VCV for evap? I was also wondering about what paint you used on the intake mani and other components?

Yes, I mis spoke. It’s going to the PCV. Engine paint on the manifold and motor. Still holding up. Named Dupli-color from Orielly’s auto parts.

Can you please please please send me a picture of all the vacuum lines you kept and have routed or plugged man at this point I’d pay you for it I pulled all the shit off cause I’m doing a Webber carb and I’m lost

That belt runs the fan. I had to go look myself. So you have to have it unless you’re running electric fan. Which could be a good option.

I ordered the 2F desmog kit from TLC Performance and it came with a tensioner pulley to take the place of my smog pump. Did you use any type of thread sealer on your air rail plugs?
