The 1984 "GT350" 20th anniversary model wasn't the only Mustang to receive the front bumper/air dam with the integral fog lamps. All GT models built from mid-December 1983 onwards received the fog lamp front end. This upgrade also coincided with the addition of the rear, horizontal quad shocks(on all 5.0L models), replacing the tramp bars of the '82, '83, and early '84 5.0L models. The TRX metric wheels are 390mm in diameter, which translates into 15.3". All 1984 GT350s featured the sports seats in canyon red cloth(your car has been re- upholstered in vinyl). Other than the paint scheme, interior color, sports seats, and striping, the 1984 GT350 was mechanically identical to its equivalent engined 1984 Mustang GT.

Interesting. Great info. I was wondering about the cloth seats and door panels in the '84 GT 350 I just bought. (They're being tossed, anyway.)

Got two of them. 5.0 Carbureted 5 speed convertible #0310 and 2.3 turbo convertible 5 speed #1362. I bought the 5.0 FI automatic convertible new back in 84 but it was stolen long ago and never got it back :(

I just bought a 1984 GT-350 5 speed, A/C convertible and there's not a speck of rust on it.
