Man this video takes me back, I bought one of these back in 84 when they first came out. It was the first NEW bike I ever bought. I paid $2000 for it from the dealer. I loved the bike, it would climb any hill I ever took it on.It was a monster the start at first until I started putting all my weight into the kick starter like you would a Harley. Wish I still had it now, but at 62 years of age I'm afraid I would hurt myself on it. Thanks For the video. Brings back GREAT memories.

Someone is selling a 1984 CR500 in good shape with a title for $2500. Should I buy it is the question though? I've never ridden a 500 before, just a 250. It's all original and original title I believe. Paint is alright, original honda sticker is still there

I have a 97 cr500 and the dam thing dust my 2010 Yamaha 450 every single time especially up the stupidest hills, that's where the 500 truly shines. That thing can pull my 270 pound ass up any hill 4th gear pinned with the fattest knobby on it. I don't know how these engines harness so much torque so much power. If Honda we're to bring back the cr500 I would buy one. No BS I would be at the front door of the dealer ship with my pick up truck cash in hand

This 84 was my first crosser when I was 17 and I couldn’t kick it myself so I would have to bump start it downhill. It was a 4 speed box and I was wandering if that was standard?

How do you bump start a 500? Can't come close to doing it on dirt, to much compression!

Saturday the show goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and around 6 p.m. we're heading up to the Kaplan compound for the VIP party, which should be a hoot! Some of the band members are going to come up and play and we have a big pond with three fire pits around it so we're going to have a big bonfire. Plus we have a lighted track and some riding going on
