My middle school has some from 1976, these are great performers. The service manager at my school said "oh those, they haven't clogged in 35 years" I like how they flush, I just wish they sphioned. It's still interesting to see that they blow out. I managed to get one to sphion by lightly tapping on the flushomter

Lucky fund! It's really hard to find Kingstons this old and older to aquire. The Kingston WaterGuards are some of the few toilets that I can identify by the sound before I see them. These early WaterGuards in particular have a more angular appearance on the front of the bowl than my 75 Kingston. They look great!

I prefer the newer Kingston WG's over these older WG's. I never liked how constantly these shred and the lack of a siphon doesn't help.

Yep, those came out in 1985! Kohler redesigned a lot of their fixtures that year.
