What I have noticed in all these big N.Z races from the early to mid 80's there seems to be quiet a few horses breaking or getting knocked out of the race. Maybe half the drivers shouldn't have been allowed to drive, very rough tactics. Great win by Roydon Glen, really blossomed as a 4 & 5yo, would have been great if they had ventured over to Australia for some of the big races in the mid 80's.
