The NBC Sports closing logo was missing from this clip; it had a voiceover saying "The 1984 World Series has been a presentation of NBC Sports, the leader in innovative sports television."

This gives me goosebumps. I'm a lifelong Detroit er, and I was 13 years old this magical night happened and our hometown heroes won the world series!

wiedep-Taat would be Jack Buck. Joe Buck was only 15 at the time and IIRC he lived with his mother(Jack Buck was divorced)
