1985 4RUNNER BUILD PART 3 CONTINUED

Hello everyone! thanks for watching again! I had way too much footage to sort through to make this video. My final cut pro backup was two terabyte! My biggest one yet lol. I hope I edited it good enough for you guys to enjoy! In this video I continue on from the first part of the front axle rebuild. I replace everything with fresh new stronger parts.

Wow that looked more complicated then I expected. I think I would be cool if you did a video fixing your fender rust. I have some but only in the rear

I do tend to do things the hard way lol maybe that’s why. And on this truck, I’ll be cutting the rust out to clear the 37 inch tires. But on my other 4Runner I can definitely do a rust fixing video!

All that extra brake power will be great for the 37s...but those solid rotors will warp if you drive it regularly...88 v6 calipers, 85 cruiser rotors all bolt right up. Stops my 37s like 31s with stock booster and stock master.

Thanks for the comment, I originally was going to put v6 rotors on but they didn’t fit over the hubs so I gave up very easy lol. If 85 cruiser rotors work, I will go get some!

Any plans for ifs hubs on the front? Gets you 3 inches extra width without wheeldspacers. Look up front range offroad if you ever want to put tundra brakes on your axle.
