お気持ちは分かります。 当ゲームのストーリー設定を考えると、救出の対象であるパケットを連続殺害することは、主人公の宇宙辺境警備隊員に課せられた任務と真っ向から矛盾する、妄動であるといえますw プレイヤーに余計な罪悪感をもたせるのは良いことではない、と言うこともできます。 ただゲームプレイ的には、スリリングでおもしろくなる効果もあります。 パケットを捕獲しないとルーレットでライフを増やすことが出来なくなるし、中ボス戦で中ボスの動きを一時停止させることも出来なくなるので。 自分も昔からこの隠しボーナスの設定はどうかな、賛否分かれそうと思ってました

If you shoot the first 20 of them you find down, you get a secret bonus. Go to 4:19 of the video, you see the bonus face appear right after hitting the 20th. Shooting more of them causes another bonus face to appear as well, which is why he carries on killing them for a while. It's mentioned in the Tips section for Baraduke in Namco Museum 5 on the PS1.
