Very impressive. I've played this game since the time it came out and I've never seen anyone play it this well.

The throwing cross was alwats the ultimate weapon in Ghosts n' Goblins. This playthru took a bit longer to get the knife then i expected (And revealed some awesome bonus points I missed before!) but it's all about the throwing cross. :-) Nice playthru, and def. alot more economical then my own wins of this game.
I was ALWAYS wondering, what the hell those two were doing in the mid of the night at the graveyard, damn chilling lol

Arthur isn't even wearing his armor at start, there isn't any reason to take off his armor except... You know what I'm talking about.

You mean you've never had a picnic in the middle of the night in a graveyard?

There was no cross in the western version, in spite of the cross art being shown at the end of the first playthrough. It was changed to a shield. Way to go capcom.
It's a shame this franchise was never as popular and long-lived as Konami's _Castlevania_ series. Oh well, beating the game twice might've had something to do with it! 😁

Because ghost n goblins series had no depth compared to Castlevania...Maximo series was horrible. Even Firebrand (Gargoyle) games were better than Maximo and it had plenty of games for each system based on him.

In the US Version, the Crucifix was replaced with a Shield.
