I received a bunch of old cards through Ebay and my 1966 Topps Jim Grant and Danny Cater cards had scissor cuts on the upper left hand corners!

I have a GMA 9 Clemens rookie from this set. I only have a few cards from this sadly, I love the design. 81, 84, 85, 87 and 89 are my fav Donruss sets and somehow I have very few of one of those years haha. Thanks for the video, id love to open a box of these sometime in the future ;-)

Thank you and great rip. I remember 1985 Donruss vividly when it first came out. Most collectors had a mixed reaction to it. Most loved the black borders and overall design with the team logos. But many had issues with the blurry photos, bad coloring and lame backs. Granted, this set was coming on the heels of the hugely popular 1984 Donruss set. Thanks again.

Donruss really whiffed on the Rated Rookies in 1985. How did none of Gooden/Clemens/Puckett/Davis/Saberhagen get the RR stamp of approval?

I was skeptical about this box when you encountered the nibbled card. But you pulled so many good cards. Never got to open these packs as a kid. Opened a lot of 1985 Fleer and Topps though.

Dude, I love this channel so much because I can relate to it so well.....I'm also from small town PA. Everytime you wise crack a player or certain card I die everytime because it brings me back to the 90s and I was the exact same way with certain players lol.....I'm a fan for life

Brandon Sp1 Jordan is low series, the set with the find the Nolan on the front, high series has an SP2 of Nolan Ryan's 7th no hitter and find the Aaron on the front
