Out of all the fuel tank swaps on KZbin this is the one I like most. The simple solution for your new braces is use the same pieces you ordered for the tank straps then cut to length. Nice tank swap.

You can use a Charcoal canister off a Fox Body Mustang for the vent. Just hang it back by your tan above the fuel level as much as possible. It will help keep you from having a gas smell. Also. I didn't get a good look at your grounding wire (on the frame). Make sure you scrape all the paint off when you will mount the wire. Then repaint over the area once you have it mounted. You can even use some dielectric grease. It will help you not become pissed off in the future. I am old. I know old person things. :-) Using the return is a great idea if you already have it. It will eliminate the chances of fuel starvation and vapor lock. Just use a fuel pressure regulator with a bypass (return). LMC has an electric fuel pump control module for $60. It is a great thing to have as insurance against the pump still running after an accident. Shop around. I am sure you can do better.

I am so sorry I missed this.. I know I'm kinda late now but I just put a rubber line cap over it and a hose clamp I believe.

@@BRANT-RAYoh so you just didn’t use it? Ok. I ran a rubber hose off of it and put a filter on the end for a breather? Not sure if that’s right. Also- any ideas on how to keep water from collecting on top of the tank? My will be under wood bed of 65 Chevy truck. Just curious

Was wondering where you found that rear tank brace did you buy it new

The bracket behind the tank is a cross member that was already on the truck, I just moved it back to some holes that were already existing in the frame. Sorry for being so late I guess I missed this comment.
