Drove this car about 7 or 8 years ago...pretty quick for an XJS.....was loud enough for the police to be called to the garage after complaints regarding the noise...they couldn't care about the complaints and all they wanted was for me to start it up and rev it ....they said thank you and both left in their police car lol

what we have to be mindful of is that, in 1987, 500b.h.p was like going to Venus. today there's food blenders with 500 b.h.p. back then 500 horses was a massive deal. to get the same shock value today,we'd be looking at 1200 b.h.p.at least. I for one would love this car. the sound it creates is beautiful.

Wow Wow Wow !!....Maybe not this cabriolet version , but I would have a twin supercharged Lister Le Mans coupe in any colour over any modern Supercar. I simply Love the Lister XJS in any form and this cabriolet version is worth every penny of 125k....In my fantasy 10 car collection my two oldies would be : Lister Le Mans coupe , Tickford turbo Capri......Great Cars.
