1985 Mercury Grand Marquis LS

This is a video of my 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. It's mostly original, although its got a custom exhaust system. With velour seats, and all power options. Its got the standard dual knob analog stereo. It has the 5.0 Litre V8, which puts out 140 HP, (150 with the dual exhaust) with an EPA estimate of 15 City / 23 Hwy. The body is in good shape, and hardly has any dings in it. It's been in the family since it was just a few years old, belonging to my grandparents. It had 164,039 miles at the time this vid was shot.

I had an '85 the same color. I purchased it in 2003. It was a nice car. Looked as clean as yours at the time. The vinyl topbon mine was cream like the car rather than darker toned like yours. I love yours. It's beautiful. 1987 was their last razor sharp edged year. I liked this particular style better than 1988-1991 models

Fine fine fine automobile. American automobile manufacturers should have kept one model of large car luxury. One of them should take a chance and make something similar to it then see but I know they don't like to gamble. But don't you think many people would go for a new larger car that reeks luxury. Probably would win over some new customers as well.

+Steven Lebbing It's neither fuel injected nor carborated. There's a name for it, but it's like a cross between fuel injection and carb.

@@maxwooden7118 They called it Central Fuel Injection. And from 1986 on, Ford went for EFI.

Ford put much nicer seats in their higher-end models than GM did. Those seats look really cushy.
