as a younger horse Yalu had won a few chases. For the 1984 GN (141 entries) Yalu was allocated the bottom weight of 6st 7lbs. Today, that would equate with a rating of 88 ish. 1979-83 had bottom weights around 115 - which isn tbad by today's standards. 1984-89 has bottom weights trending less than 100
