Trying to get one of these out at the junkyard is such a pain in the ass haha 😂 it’s a lot easier when you have access to all of your tools and a Jack so you can manipulate the A arms to get the suspension parts off and pull the CV’s. The best is when someone already came through and did that part for you lol 😂

This was such a pain to get out, it was on a bracket drop, and they had the truck supported by frame, so the arm's were on the ground, such a pain in the butt, but now I have a spare or two...

Is there any bearings in the diff at all? My truck makes a whining noise from front end and I can't find it I've already changed wheel bearings and front brakes, thinking of tearing apart diff next

There are. There’s a pinion bearing when the drive shaft enters the differential and a bearing on east side of the differential all have to be accessed by removing the differential

​@@windsworld2070 Does entire differential need disassemble to access the bearings on passenger side. Flange where axle bolts in gas excessive play

@@AdamRodriguez-r2b I’m pretty sure to get at the bearing you need to take the front differential out. You’ll also need to reset the gears, backlash, bearing preload, and check the contact pattern if you change out bearings as their thicknesses can vary

Do you have to take apart the locker in-order to get that driver side shaft out of the tube? Trying to do the side seals on my 94 4runner with a 7.5 ADD

@@TheFlaimingCow I don’t recall exactly, but I feel like the shafts are just held in with a clip that collapses with enough pressure, but I’m not 100% sure so best of luck
