Is it just a bundle of wires going through the base? I'm surprised it doesn't have a slip ring or something. I remember visiting West Shore Services when I was a kid and thinking it couldn't possibly be that simple.

It's exactly that simple. The way ACA designed their collector ring setup for the Alertronics was not the smartest, so we're thinking this oscillating setup was made to completely get around the issue.

It's significantly cheaper than slip rings. I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been anymore found yet.

This is the only example of an oscillating model that we know of. It's ordered from the factory this way.

How did someone even get the graffiti on it? I’d assume it was in a siren graveyard and someone did it. Not sure. My guess is it was a teenager but maybe not. But either way it’s nice!

It was sitting back in the woods in Rhinelander, south of Phillip St. and Sumac Trail. It's been known about for years by several enthusiasts. I can almost guarantee with 99.9% certainty that the graffiti was done by a group of young enthusiasts during SirenCon.
