i keep goin back to this vid, its great but sad at the same time, some of those builings and house,s you could of bought for buttons, now there worth fortunes. and the areas in the the vid are bouncin now,i worked in lpool ymca mount pleasent as coach at the time, 84/86 and got married in sept 86 i was 24,but them years to me up to 92/93. were some of the best years of my life, but you dont know it at the time.like sophie said brings a lump to your throat,and that music, fantastic, cheers bud.

ive got hours of footage also of many areas of liverpool the earliest being 1987 some has been put on the sites of friends of edge hill ,and memories of edge hill take a look

@MissPandora1967 I would probably have the same response as you if someone filmed a drive down Islington High Street and the Essex Road. How, relatively, quiet the streets were then of traffic. Was that really you at 1:56? How amazingly bizarre. You looked pretty dapper in your Oxfam coat, I must say.
