Don't these have super tiny necks? I had one when they first came out and remember the neck was pencil thin.
@jamiesguitars5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, definitely the thinnest strat neck I've played.

Jamie Patterson Is the neck thin in terms of like nut width or thin in terms of the neck shape. Cheers

I have this as well with a maple cap on the neck - is yours the same. These are considered better than US made at the time

Yes mate, maple cap no skunk stripes on this one

I just picked one up today. Same color, I paid 399 plus tax. Do you think it was a good deal?

hheidrick hi mate, mine has te headstock the correct way(not inverted) what is yours like. If it is from the same period as mine then you had a bargain

Thanks, I'm trying to do some research, do you know what pickups are in it? And i didnt know they had floating bridges?
@jamiesguitars8 жыл бұрын
Samuel Stevenson hi mate, the pickups are usually regarded as crap from this era fujigen but I know people who would disagree. Couldn't tell you the model number but I've had a tex mex set installed into mine
@jamiesguitars8 жыл бұрын
Samuel Stevenson also they do have floating bridges but I usually block them off with a chunk of wood and tighten the screws attached to the springs. Depends what are you looking for?

Oh right, I've read that these Japanese strats form this era (80s) rivalled the American made guitars of the time, what dos you think?
