so 3 weeks is 120 man hours and at (a best) 100 an hour...at least 12,000.00 to change a simple gasket....and look at the rope they use to hold the engine....thats some fine engineering from Ferrari.

Thats not all time he had to spend punched on to that job. He clearly states thats start to fonish meaning the car came in, advisor writes him up, he diagnoses where exactly the leak is and what fluid is leaking, goes to parts and tells them what he needs, they quote the prices and availability if the parts and then the advisor produces the estimate and calls the customer who might not green light the job that second or even take the call the first time. The job in this case was approved so the advisor tells either the tech and or parts or a dispatcher (processes are different everywhere) to order parts, he likely goes on to another car while they are waiting for parts. Parts arrive and he works on the job that by the looks of it is possibly 2-3 days of wrench time. He finishes the job, road tests it. Verifies nothing is leaking and then it probably goes to the detail bay.

Nice to see the "red head's" rear sub-frame mount with the engine and tranny exposed. Radiators on both sides, very F1'ish for that period regarding the radiators, engine, tranny, & rear sub-frame mount. Did'nt realize there's 4 Koni shocks back there but even then I've seen these cars "haunch" really low when taking a corner aggressively due to all the weight of that flat 12 and fluids. The F40 uses Koni shocks as well. I'm sure others swap out the OEM shocks for more current shocks and springs to handle the load but respect those that keep it OEM. I know of testarossa owners where just to change the belts, the whole engine needs removal because the belts sit right behind and below the rear window. So a $20 belt change can run you in the thousands just in labor due to the engine removal....oooouuuch! Hey, it's a Ferrari right!! I would rather have 71 365 Daytona with borrani wheels as that looks to more DIY and it too is a classic but those can run a half a million and upwards depending on mileage.

Tatiana is so gorgeous I barely looked at the Ferraris and that's a huuuuge compliment. Like a Ferrari among regular cars, appropriate choice by the service center. She must be from Russia or Ukraine, how lucky these guys over there are to have such angels in bunches. BTW the service of that Ferrari by Enzo must cost twice my 🏠. And Enzo is a fluent English speaker compared to other Italian mechanics, he knows about 10 English words besides yes and no. He is not pissed as some say, he just don't get wtf is going on
