This is my new to me 1986 FXWG she's an original paint Machine that I will be restoring & putting her back on the road after she was sitting in a basement Garage for 15 years !

That's wild! I was led to believe '85 was the only year they offered the Evo in the 4-speed frame as a Superglide. That in '86 the only Superglide you could get was an FXR. Hope you're feeling better and get to enjoy riding the bike

Thank you, I am really in love with the 80's Harley-Davidson's ! H-D made some really great Machines & they are still affordable !

I have the same bike w/ the same paint scheme. I swapped a Baker 6 speed into mine & converted it to open belt primary (kick only) & chain final drive. I love the freakin' thing & have owned it for years.

I am a die hard shovelhead fan, this is only my third Evo ,but I really like working on it so far, & they are still affordable ! 😆

Nice Bike, is the frame original, it looks like a shovelhead frame.

Yes the frame is original with the VIN # from the MOCO !

@@troybuilds Thanks I saw the gusset on the left side just above the primary and I know that was done to shovelhead frames for strength that is why I asked. You have a very nice bike, have not seen one with that paint in probably thirty years.

I will have to call Harley-Davidson customer care to get info on the production numbers with total 86's with this paint in the Harley-Davidson data book they say 534 of these were produced but that might include the black painted ones too !
