God that door chime takes me back. My grandfather used to have an '86 Custom Cruiser similar to this one and I still wish he never got rid of it.

This was the only rear-drive Oldsmobile left after the Cutlass Supreme (G chassis) was terminated in 1988. The Custom Cruiser would get two years with the 1991 restyling, but lack of interest in this class of cars, because of sales from minivans, led to this model being dropped after the 1992 model year. Only the 1992 models could be optioned with the 5.7L fuel injected Chevy V8.

Try to find some original Olds wire hubcaps. They'll really set the car off!! I had a 1988 Custom Cruiser wagon. I loved this car!!! 1990 was the last year of this wagon before it turned into the vacuum cleaner / bathtub body style. Please don't ruin this car with ghetto rims!!!!!!

Yeah, those plain Jane wheel covers Olds used were awful. The wire wheel covers would really dress it up.
