Mine too. Had one 30yrs ago and regretted selling ever since. Great bikes… spent 10ths in bits and started 3rd kick👍

@@warrenhoare2852funny how you hear one again and even my wife said that sounds like the one you USED to have 🙄 and the washer on the rear shock jingling around lol. I miss my 86’ too, full DG exhaust, 85’ YZ 250 suspension. Hard to beat in the tight stuff. 🐾✌️🇺🇸

I had a 465. and it was impressive. After a Honda XR200 which the bike was moved by the rocks the 465 moved the rocks. The torque was= awesome through out the rev range (no pipe power step). .Was stolen from work and replaced by a 250. On standard gearing on the 250 you could never do 70 mph. In top gear at 65 mph it would come on to the pipe and be doing 75+ before settling down due to air drag.. The only thing to watch was the plastic tank which allowed some part of the fuel to dissolve the glue on the tank stickers.

My mates had 465’s and 490’s back in the day. Not many left now. Can’t think of a bad off road bike from the 80s’. Incredible that spares are still around too👍

Was always a big bore person having grown up around sandhills.. but i reckon most fun in an enduro i had was on a mates 200... never realised how heavy open class bikes were until that day! Took a while to get used to how easy it was... love to know where they are all hidden.. there has to be a gold mine somewhere... would love to barn find a few to restore

Had a couple of sand tracks near us when I was kid (both closed now, sadly) and loved riding my IT175 on them. Yeah, there seem to to less and less of these bikes for sale every year. I got lucky and gave something to over the winter too👍

That bike is in great shape, 👍, I had an IT 425 it was wheelies in all 5 gears , really quick and fast, not a beginner bike.

My mate hat a 490 back in the day. Broke his ankle kicking it. Had a 175 and 250…. Haven’t got the balls for the full fat 400’s. Why Yamaha don’t bring 2 strikes back I’ll never know. If KTM can do it, Yamaha can👍

@@warrenhoare2852 The then modern looking Nava helmets, and the awesome looking 80s Arai helmet I remember those. Man, good times, good times...😎
