Used to play this at the arcade all the time. The controller was a replica of a real Uzi with a button on the side for grenades. If I were a rich man, I'd track down one of those old arcade machines, put it in my mansion and enjoy it! But, I'm not.

Operation Wolf was perhaps one of the biggest light gun games in the arcades. It was also quite brutal. The game utilised the mounted gun setup, which became stock for several other games that followed. It was not easy at all.

I've played original system in the arcades back in Poland. Mounted gun (a hybrid between Mac 10 and UZI) had a special red button near the barrel to release a grenade :)

Operation Wolf was ‘87? I thought it was ‘89-‘90. Haha, I’m getting old. I don’t remember playing in arcades until like 3rd grade. Just shows how ahead of its time it was. I LOVED the Uzi. Being a huge Joe fan and Snake Eyes fan, I used to always pretend I was Snake Eyes when I played.

I played this on a 286 or 386 PC (the floppy era) and we didn't have a mouse or joystick back then. Our movement must've been so much slower.
