Round 2 of the 1987 Australian Touring Car Championship from Symmons Plains in Tasmania.
"A much smaller field (than R1) appeared seven days later at Symmons Plains, but all the lead runners were there. Grice and Fury locked out the front row, the Commodore driver leading the race comfortably until overheating crippled the car with 10 laps to go. Fury went on to win from Richards, who charged through to 2nd as the bigger cars ran out of tyres after half distance. The Sierras teams were still struggling to replicate the results from their European counterparts, turning down the boost and sacrificing speed for reliability." - William Dale Jnr 2011
