It probably originally was for the banquet but then they sold to the fans. I've had this tape since winter of 87, it was a Christmas present. I have some others I also bought, but then a bunch of Rush Hour on DIRT videos I personally worked on when I worked at DIRT Motorsports.

I love the old school memories. Especially Jumpin Jack Johnson. I used to watch him race every Sat night at Fonda with my dad

If I remember correctly, this was made for the awards banquet. I shot a lot of that video - was just a lol! What a great year of racing. My archive was destroyed, haven't raced down this memory lane in years, thanks for sharing!

Oh the drivers were always messing with us when we were trying to get them in the studio for shots and interviews. B. Decker and B. McCreadie were always giving me a hard time. I didn't do a lot of the video at DIRT I mostly did a lot of the graphics and the behind the camera interviews. I actually did more camera work after I left DIRT for a news station in Iowa. Just lately I've gotten back in to video, andediting the old ones for youtube.com I don't want these great races to be lost.

When I was there Terry was Producer... Was he a big fan of the "F" Word as much when you knew him? My graphics station was right across from his desk. He used the "F" world like taking a breath.. lol.. He was hardcore, and a great writer. He wrote a lot of the openings to Rush Hour, Man he was INTENSE the day of a show. He would scream and yell, and swear and throw things. But after the show was over he would walk up to each and every person and shake their hand and tell them good job.

David, yep that was Rums on an average day lol. You must've come onboard around '89 or '90. Loved that guy. I could tell you a few stories. He taught us production (and a bit about life) at Cayuga, and we worked a bit together outside of D.I.R.T., as well as an interesting Winter Texas tour. The best times I ever had in broadcasting.

The driver mugshots- they heard what it was for and kept avoiding and messing with me lol! I split before the Rush Hours started, great work! Patrick's probably my favorite director if all, we had a blast. I stuck around the circuit and looked in on you guys when tours crossed. Good bunch of people. You still shoot?

Very cool. Bob is a great guy! Old friend Aaron Brillbeck does news at WOI since 2000. Haven't seen these for sale in a while, yah hang on to them! Was Rumsey still there then? Interesting man, taught us in college before DIRT. Dick Bergren was kind of talking about this last weekend at Daytona. He was great to roll with, loved it here.

i miss This Week on DIRT and Rush Hour on DIRT. I wonder if there's more episodes from Rush Hour. I even remember the ads, Tuf Oil w/Freddie Blassie, Great Outdoors RV Superstore in Fulton, Terrell's Potato chips etc.

I always liked DIRT racing better than NASCAR and now NASCAR just gets worse and worse every year. It's just completely unwatchable the last few years. Jumpin Jack Johnson has always been my favorite dirt driver. I watched Jack every Friday night at Albany-Saratoga Speedway and every Saturday night at Fonda Speedway. I really liked Richie Evans too. Man what a great driver he was. I used to watch Richie race at Albany-Saratoga Speedway every Friday night back in the early to mid 70's back when it was a NASCAR sanctioned asphalt track. "The Rapid Roman" was one of the all time greats
